According to Zpryme, the
world market for smart grid is expected to surge from $69.3 billion in
2009 to
$171.4 billion by 2014, with Asia
leading the
way.
Analysts estimate that China alone
could spend over $100 billion upgrading its power distribution over the
next 10
years. Japan and South
Korea are
also ramping up smart grid investment. Both are ear-marking spending of
more
than $800 million this year, according to a Zpryme report released in
January.
The
future of the smart grid market in Asia and the technological
innovations driving these developments will be discussed during the
Conference.

(TES) is an excellent energy management strategy. |

of using TES are low-cost energy, heat absorption at constant
temperature,
accommodates high, short period heat loads, reduced refrigerant charge,
“reserve” cooling capacities and lower electrical
capacity
requirements.
FLOW-ICE Systems are an economical way to spread peak cooling loads
over
a 24 hour period. In many applications,
a smaller
conventional cooling system can be
installed and FLOW-ICE / TES is used to satisfy the large peak cooling
demands.
Furthermore, the lower off peak energy costs are an attractive option
contributing to overall lower operating costs.
